Truckman has introduced its award-winning Decked drawer system for the new Toyota Hilux and Isuzu D-Max pickup trucks.

The US-developed pull-out drawer storage system was introduced to the UK two years ago and has become popular with a range of pickup owners, including tradespeople, engineers, and leisure users.

Already OEM approved by Toyota for the new Hilux double-cab, thanks to the minimal revisions to the load bay on the new model, Decked is now also available for the new Isuzu D-Max double cab. The system fits seamlessly into the truck bed and offers easy access to tools and equipment from two secure, full-length roll-out drawers whilst still allowing full use of the truck bed.

Decked creates a raised deck with a galvanised steel sub-frame within the truck bed, which has a one-tonne load rating. It also works alongside Truckman’s range of hardtop canopies to provide additional protection and security, making it suitable for both commercial and leisure users.

The weatherproof Decked system is manufactured using durable, 100% recycled, high-density polyethylene and includes integrated drainage channels to keep water away from drawer contents. Each drawer, which can carry a load of up to 90kg, opens at waist height for quick and comfortable access to tools and equipment. Further storage capacity is provided by two integrated storage bins that can be accessed through the deck to hold smaller items such as jump leads, rachet straps, snow socks and oil cans, etc.

Optional drawer extras include portable toolboxes and dividers to support efficient storage along with additional locks to provide enhanced security and drainage plugs.

Available with a three-year warranty as standard, the Truckman Decked system is available for the Toyota Hilux and Isuzu D-Max from £1,255 plus VAT. In addition to the Hilux and D-Max, Decked is also compatible with the Nissan Navara, Volkswagen Amarok, Ford Ranger, Mitsubishi L200 and Fiat Fullback. Versions have also been developed for vans including the Citroen Jumper, Fiat Ducato, Ford Transit and Peugeot Boxer.
