SsangYong has added another dealer to its growing network, with Kent-based Humphries & Parks joining the brand recently.

Founded in 1947 when Charles Humphries & Arthur Parks, a brother-in-law duo from Wadhurst, purchased an old Blacksmiths shop after leaving the army after the second world war, Humphries & Parks has been a well-known name in Kent for 75 years.

Starting from a small high street workshop near Tunbridge Wells, the firm became the longest-serving Mitsubishi dealer in the UK prior to the brand leaving the UK in 2021, the dealership expanded to four sites across Kent showcasing additional brands such as Daihatsu, Seat and Kia.

The company now resides on a purpose-built three-acre site located on London Road, West Malling near Maidstone, close to both the M20 & M26 motorways. Under current owner, Marcus Joy, the business has won many accolades including national industry awards from Mitsubishi, AM and Motor Trader. It’s also been awarded Electric Vehicle Accreditation by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles, one of only 99 UK businesses that achieved the accreditation process initially.
