Sales of the Isuzu D-Max pickup have grown rapidly in the UK, with a 30% increase for the year to date over the same period in 2022.

Growth has come across the range, with the single-cab utilitarian models recording a 200% increase in registrations compared to the previous year. The fleet-friendly pickup is particularly well suited for construction and agriculture customers, with the D-Max’s renowned reliability playing a large part in its appeal to hard-working industries.

High-specification, double cab registrations have increased too, with Isuzu claiming a rise of 58% year on year of models fitted with an automatic gearbox — all All-Purpose and Adventure models — demonstrating the brand’s move into the lifestyle market.

Across all segments of the range, sales are up 30.49% year to date. With 2,602 new D-Max’s on the road in 2023, according to SMMT figures, the brand is third behind the Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux.
