Isuzu is maintaining its support for the National Building & Construction Awards (NBCA) in 2023, marking its second consecutive year of backing the event to be held on Thursday, 16th December, at the Hilton London Wembley hotel.
The NBC awards
comprise 20 distinct categories, inviting successful UK businesses to showcase their accomplishments within the building and construction sector. A panel of industry experts will judge all entries. The categories encompass various facets of the industry, such as the Women in Construction Award, Restoration Project of the Year, and Project of the Year; the latter is further divided into three awards, based on project cost, to ensure fair competition among companies of similar sizes.

For 2023, a new category has been introduced: the Construction Software Award. Other categories spotlight various industry aspects, including Community Engagement, Health & Safety, Green/Sustainability, and Apprentice of the Year — the last recognising apprentices who have exceptionally leveraged their training and development opportunities.
Under Isuzu’s Gold Partnership, the NBCA will present the Innovation of the Year award as an Isuzu-sponsored honour. This award will celebrate business innovations that have effectuated a positive impact, from adopting time-saving procedures to launching novel products.
“We are delighted to welcome back Isuzu for the celebration of the very best of building and construction firms from across the UK,” said NBCA Awards Director Damian Cummins. “Together, our partnership is focused on the brilliant, innovative work of those entering these prestigious awards. As a leader in the automotive sector, Isuzu is committed to hard work and high quality and their support of the Awards 2023 shows why the NBCA is the highlight of the building and construction calendar every year. We are delighted and proud to have them on board.”
George Wallis, Head of Marketing, Isuzu UK, added: “We are proud to announce Isuzu UK’s continued support for the National Building & Construction Awards in 2023, marking our second consecutive year of partnership with this esteemed event. These awards showcase excellence in the industry, and we’re particularly thrilled to contribute to this celebration by highlighting the Innovation of the Year award, which recognises businesses that make a positive impact through ground-breaking ideas and practices. The Isuzu D-Max has a proven workhorse pedigree, and the construction industry has long been a cornerstone of our business.”
