Isuzu has expanded its dealer network once again, adding JT Hughes Group to the 16 dealerships appointed throughout the last year.
Based in Shropshire and Mid-Wales, the retailer opened the new Isuzu franchise at the beginning of March and expects to grow its existing client base with the new range of D-Max pickup trucks.
“We are immensely excited to forge this new partnership with Isuzu,” explained John Hughes, JT Hughes managing director. “Introducing the Award-Winning Isuzu D-Max range at JT Hughes Newtown will allow us to continue providing our customers with the finest commercial vehicles. It’s an exciting time at JT Hughes, as we refresh our showrooms with several of the world’s most innovative and iconic car brands.”
William Brown, managing director at Isuzu UK, added: “We’re delighted to be welcoming the JT Hughes Group into our network as we drive to enhance our sales and aftersales operations in all corners of the UK.”

The group’s dealer sites across the agricultural heartland of England and Wales will attract new customers to the Isuzu brand thanks to the popular D-Max pickup. Available in single, extended or double cab body styles, there’s a specification for every need, from workhorse commercial ‘Utility’ variants with wipe-clean vinyl floor covering and hard-wearing cloth upholstery to the lifestyle-friendly and somewhat glamorous V-Cross. The latter includes plush leather trim, a 9.0-inch infotainment centre, dual-zone climate control and unique styling elements.
JT Hughes
continues its long history with Mitsubishi after sales of the L200 pickup and other Mitsubishi models ended when the manufacturer pulled out of the UK; the group’s multi-franchise site in Newtown remains a Mitsubishi Service centre.
