The IVECO Mission Awards is dedicated to shining a spotlight on the vehicles and operators who push the boundaries of IVECO’s DNA and in 2026, welcomes Professional Van as its LCV partner. Each quarter, this page will highlight two shortlisted IVECO LCV operators, all building up to an exclusive black-tie event in November, where the winners will be crowned.

The inaugural shortlist for 2026 is for the Construction & Utilities category, a demanding sector that requires high-spec, durable vehicles that have been meticulously designed to thrive on even the most challenging missions. With its robust, truck-based ladder chassis, the IVECO Daily is the perfect platform for bodybuilders; while rear-wheel drive ensures maximum traction in all environments.

Valley Water Services – Glenside Commercials Ltd

Founded in 2006, with a commitment to delivering top-quality water and utility solutions to its customers, Valley Water Services demands reliable and adaptable vehicles to suit its mission’s requirements – with its 120-strong fleet recently expanded with an IVECO Daily (70C18H) Hotbox.

The IVECO Daily’s ladder-chassis delivered for Valley Water Services, allowing for the easy installation of a hotbox bodybuild, which was supplied by Dragon Fabrication – in fact, it’s the only compatible vehicle with a GVW under 7.5 tonnes. This gives the operator the flexibility of near-HGV level loads without the downtime associated with HGV maintenance.

As Valley Water Services’ mission requires 24/7 callouts to repair crucial infrastructure, the reliability of the IVECO Daily plays a vital role in keeping costly downtime to a minimum. Since transitioning to a Daily fleet in 2017, Valley Water Services reports a 15% improvement in Total Cost of Ownership, driven by increased fuel efficiency, reduced maintenance, and long-term residual value. With vehicles each covering in excess of 40,000 miles per year, every upgrade counts.

The vehicle was supplied by Glenside Commercials, impressing Mission Awards judges with its TCO credentials, and highly tailored vehicle and bodybuild specifications.

Pressure Force UK – Guest Truck & Van

Pressure Force UK offers main gas and oil utilities to off-grid locations where water and power isn’t readily available. With a high spec bodybuild, powerful engine and gearbox combo, and sleeper cab conversion, its new IVECO Daily (72C21) offers the complete package for off-grid operations.

Combining a 3.0ltr engine producing 210hp, a ZF 8-Speed HiMatic gearbox, and rear-wheel drive gives a confident performance on all terrains; and a box body holds a host of equipment to complete the job. The back of the cab accommodates a Spojkar Twin Sleeper System, which includes a TV, fridge, and night heater, as well as a table and seating area; offering a home-away-from-home. The bunk ensures drivers are well rested, bolstering safety in operation, alongside a reverse warning alarm.

Reducing carbon emissions was a key consideration for Pressure Force UK, which is why an Omina lightweight, sustainable composite flooring system made from recycled plastics was installed in place of GRP plywood – reducing weight by 40% and increasing fuel efficiency, whilst still adding solid durability.

The Daily was supplied by Guest Truck & Van, with Mission Awards judges praising the extra measures taken to boost sustainability credentials, as well as it being a good-looking bespoke conversion.
