Stellantis has announced a new in-vehicle task management tool called MyTasks, which is designed to enhance fleet management efficiency and driver safety. This innovative solution allows fleet managers to assign tasks and communicate directly with drivers through the vehicle’s built-in infotainment system.
MyTasks eliminates the need for drivers to use their mobile phones while on the job, reducing distractions and improving safety. Fleet managers can utilise an online portal to assign tasks or adjust schedules, with notifications delivered directly to the driver’s dashboard. The system also allows drivers to send destinations directly to the vehicle’s navigation system, further optimising workflows.

Stellantis’ mobility brand Free2move will incorporate MyTasks into its suite of fleet management solutions through an over-the-air update on existing Stellantis vehicles equipped with compatible technology. This feature will also be available to business partners through API integration. Pro One, Stellantis’ commercial vehicle unit, will be the first to offer MyTasks on compact and mid-size vans from Citroen, Fiat, Peugeot and Vauxhall. Availability will expand to large vans by the end of the year.
“A breakthrough tool like MyTasks is the result of when we put our customers’ needs above all else,” explained Stellantis chief software officer, Yves Bonnefont. “We know that our B2B customers value efficiency and safety for their drivers and their fleets and we are using the capabilities built into our vehicles to cut down on the potential distractions and deliver key information to make their job easier.”
