MAN is marking 10 years of the TGE van with a new 10 Year Edition model, celebrating a decade since the large van made its debut at the 2016 IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hanover.

The TGE was a significant model for MAN Truck & Bus, taking the brand into the 3.0 to 5.5-tonne van sector and allowing it to offer commercial vehicles from large vans through to heavy trucks.

Since then, the TGE has become an important part of MAN’s line-up, with more than 30,000 units sold globally in 2025. MAN says around 200,000 TGEs are now on the road, including 21,000 in the UK.

Daniel Holbein, head of business unit van at MAN Truck & Bus, said: “I’ve been proud and delighted to see the TGE gain more and more importance at MAN over the past ten years. Thanks to our highly trained service and sales teams, stronger integration within the MAN organisation, and an outstanding product, we were able to grow to more than 30,000 units sold in 2025.”

MAN TGE 10 Year Edition

To mark the anniversary, MAN is launching a 10 Year Edition model. The MAN TGE 3.140 4x2F SB 10 Year Edition is based on a 3.5-tonne GVW long-wheelbase front-wheel-drive panel van.

It uses MAN’s 2.0-litre Euro 6 four-cylinder diesel engine, producing 140hp and 360Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. The van has a 4,490mm wheelbase and is finished in Indium Grey Metallic paint.

The 10 Year Edition includes a broad standard specification, with digital instruments, LED headlights, a rear-view camera, Climatic air conditioning, heated and folding electric mirrors, a cargo space floor with loading sill protection, and MAN Media Van Navigation Business with a 12.9-inch touchscreen.

It also gains a multifunction steering wheel, electronic parking brake with Auto-Hold, Keyless Start, fatigue detection, traffic sign information, intelligent speed assist, cruise control, emergency brake assist, Active Lane Guard, tyre pressure monitoring and parking assist.

And, of course, there’ll be 10 Year Edition badging in the radiator grille and on the steering wheel.

The TGE range has recently received a major update, known as Next Level, bringing a new electronic architecture, redesigned cockpit and an expanded package of safety and assistance systems.

10 years of hard work

The TGE has been used across a wide range of applications during its first decade, from panel vans and chassis cabs to minibuses, specialist bodies and converted vehicles through MAN Individual and the company’s bodybuilder programme.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, TGE-based mobile diagnostic vehicles were also developed to support decentralised testing.

MAN is using the anniversary to highlight not just the van itself, but its wider service offer. This includes its commercial vehicle service network, MAN Mobile24 roadside assistance and maintenance and repair packages aimed at keeping vehicles operational.

The MAN TGE 10 Year Edition is available to order now.
