Volkswagen has opened the order books for the new Transporter Sportline, with prices starting from £51,105 excluding VAT for the panel van. First customer deliveries are expected in May 2026.
Available in both panel van and Kombi crew-cab form, the new Sportline sits at the top of the Transporter range and brings a more design-led look to Volkswagen’s latest medium van. A choice of wheelbases and powertrains will be offered, with diesel and electric versions available and an eHybrid model due to follow.
The panel van opens at £51,105 ex VAT, while the Transporter Sportline Kombi starts from £53,085 ex VAT.

Sportline-specific features include revised bumpers, a rear spoiler, gloss black exterior detailing, 19-inch alloy wheels, and suspension that’s been lowered by 29mm. Inside, Volkswagen has added eco-leather sports seats with red stitching, Sportline floor mats and gloss black trim around the display.
Volkswagen is also highlighting its 5+ Promise package across the wider Transporter line-up, which includes a five-year warranty, roadside assistance and servicing support.
While this is more of a range update than a major launch, it gives Volkswagen another premium halo model in the new Transporter family, aimed at buyers who want a van with a little more visual impact than the standard line-up.
