Stellantis has announced a series of updates across its large van range, with changes set to come into production from May 2025.

The upgrades apply to the Citroen Relay, Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Vauxhall Movano and their electric equivalents — the e-Relay, E-Ducato, E-Boxer and Movano Electric. The Stellantis updates will also apply to Toyota’s large van, the Proace Max.

Operators running electric models will appreciate the inclusion of a 22kW onboard charger as standard. Replacing the previous 11kW unit, the upgrade dramatically reduces AC charging times from 11 hours 45 minutes down to just 6 hours 5 minutes when using a three-phase wallbox that’s increasingly common at depots. Those opting to charge at home are unaffected, with a standard home charger taking 16 hours 40 minutes to take the van from empty to full. Rapid DC charging remains available, too, with a 0-80% top-up achievable in as little as 55 minutes on a 150kW charger.

On the diesel side, Stellantis has ensured its 2.2-litre engines are ready for the next wave of emissions regulations. Updated powertrains now comply with stricter standards coming into effect from 1 January 2026, helping operators future-proof their fleets.

Comfort and connectivity have also seen a boost, with diesel models now able to be specified with an optional 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, already familiar from the electric variants. Priced at £400 (ex VAT), the system replaces the standard 5.0-inch unit and offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard.

Across all models, Stellantis continues to offer up to 25 different body configurations alongside expansive cargo volumes and a suite of advanced driving aids. Electric versions also remain competitive, with ranges of up to 263 miles on a single charge.
